Fatherhood Dreams was made by Interfilm / Fatherhood Dreams Productions in association with Global Television, a division of CanWest MediaWorks Inc., and Knowledge Network, with the support of BC Film, Canadian Television Fund, Film Incentive BC and Canadian Tax Credits. The film is being distributed for TV market by 7th Art Releasing and for Home Video market with the help of Passion River Releasing.

Julia Ivanova

Director/Executive Producer Julia Ivanova is an accomplished documentary filmmaker. She wrote and directed: From Russia For Love (2000), which aired on CBC Newsworld's The Passionate Eye, RDI and in twenty six other countries; I Want A Woman (2003) for Newsworld's Rough Cuts and IFC; and Moscow Freestyle (2006) for Newsworld's The Lens and Knowledge Network. Moscow Freestyle won the 2006 Humanity Award at the Red Shift Film Festival in New York. Julia Ivanova is currently in post-production on Master of Silence, which is supported by the CBC, NFB and BC Arts Council and in production with CBC Newsworld on Price of Heartache. She is a Co-Chair of the BC Chapter of Documentary Organization of Canada.

Boris Ivanov

Producer Boris Ivanov has been producing films since 2000, including: From Russia For Love (2000) and Moscow Freestyle (2006). He was the line producer for the feature film The Rise of the Damned (2007), and unit manager for the NBC pilot of The Bionic Woman (2007) and the TV Series Battlestar Galactica Season III. He was a director of theatrical recreations for CBS/History's Beyond Top Secret, which was nominated for two News & Documentary Emmys in 2007. Boris has recently completed theatrical recreations directing/producing for the Investigation Discovery's series Deranged (2008) as well as two episodes of WeTV's Secret Lives of Women (2008). Boris is a Director member of the Director's Guild of Canada.

Composer John Korsrud (http://johnkorsrud.com/) has been commissioned by The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, The CBC Radio Orchestra, the Albany Symphony New Music Festival, Vancouver New Music, Turning Point Ensemble, The Standing Wave Ensemble, and several Dutch ensembles such as LOOS, Combustion Chamber, Tetzepi Bigtet, Zapp String Quartet and De Ereprijs. His score for the documentary Heroines (2002) earned him Leo and Golden Sheaf Awards and a Gemini Nomination. His score for Prisoners of Age (2005) a Leo Award. Other documentaries include Drawing Out the Demos: A Film About the Artist Attila Richard Lukacs (2005) and Dark Pines (2006).
